C. B. McClusky

This home at 533 North 12th Street was built around 1908 by C.B. McCluskey who came here from Davis, Indian Territory in 1907. He was both a builder and President of the Oklahoma State Bank in 1908. Although he was unmarried, Mr. McCluskey shared his home with parents, brothers, nieces, and nephews. The home was later occupied by S.B. Locke who came to Muskogee to buy and sell cotton. Mrs. Locke is remembered for her work in the St. Paul Methodist Church, as a patron of the Muskogee Day Nursery and as a leader in the first community chest drive in 1932.
